can someone please help me on how to test the validity of Hess's Law for this reaction

HCl+NaOh > H20+NaCl

Well, first you'd calculate the theoretical enthalpy change using Hess's Law. Then, I guess you'd run the reaction in a bomb calorimeter and measure how much heat was released or absorbed. Of course, there will be experimental losses which you cannot eliminate, but that's all you can do I think.
