| I'm doing a project for my Chemistry class where we have to make up our own element. I got the atomic number 214. One of the things we are supposed to do is use electronic configuration to figure out what row and column it's in. The las number is 8d2,bu there is a 9s2 before that. Therefore, I know it is in column nine, but how do I find what row it is in?
