Hi there,,
Im a high school student n im in need of some help
Well, I need a table for maximum number of structural(Constitutional) isomers for different compounds..For eg: I hav one for alkanes

Number of Constitutional Isomers of Alkanes.

Carbon Atoms Number of Isomers
4............ 2
5............ 3
6............ 5
7............ 9
8............ 18
9............ 35
10.......... 75
12.......... 355
15.......... 4,347
20 366,319


I need ones like these for alkenes,Alkynes,alchohols n all other groups if possible..Thanks

Good Luck. I suspect fractal theory could be used to afford some predictions. Too technical for me.

there is no "easy formula" for this problem.
has something to do with the "graphicstheory"?? or something like that
