the easyest ways i can think of would be smell and maybe specific gravity. Assuming the additive is easy to detect.

additives effect the odor and color as well as the effectivenes of that ethanol in addition to the change in the bioling point

Depending on the additive it may show up in an IR.

Checking the boiling point might work. Pure substances boil at lower temperatures than mixtures.
