can any one help me out to find out the correct solvent system for amide detection by thin layer chromatography ....thanx

As far as I know, there's no hard and fast rule for what solvent system to use. On a general level though, these are things to keep in mind:
Amides are pretty polar molecules. TLC is generally coated with a polar stationary phase. You'll want something kinda polar but not extremely polar I'd guess...maybe an ether or ester? |

Depending on what kind of other functional groups you have on the molecule there are a couple of ways you may be able to TLC this compound. First try I would use 95% CH2Cl2/5% MeOH with 1% NH3 added (you can add NH4OH). If this doesn't move it off the baseline then up the amount of MeOH/NH3 up to 10%. If this fails you can try to use a water/acetonitrile mix on silica TLC plates. If you can get your hands on C18 plates use those for the water/acetonitrile systems.
