I need some help finding the mol. Can someone please help.
What amount is represented in moles? 4.14 × 1021 molecules of ethanol, C2H5OH ?mol |

1 mole of anything contains a number of molecules equal to Avogadro's Number, i.e.: 6.023x10^23. Then you just divide.

4.14 * 10^21 molecules of ethanol (1 mol ethanol/6.023 * 10 ^ 23 molecules) = 6.87 * 10^-3 molecule of ethanol.
One mole is Avogadro's number of anything. It is sort of like one dozen is 12 of anything. It is not so hard. You should be able to solve this. I hope this will be right. I am just a turtle. I am not even a Ph.D. |
