Is it possible to divide a (water) solution containing Freon (fluorocarbon) into
simpler, non harmful to the environment, components? If yes, how? thank you |

Are you interested in separating the fluorine from the water or changing the fluorine into something safer? It sounds like the latter. Hydrolysis with NaOH will give you an alcohol.
