Hello! I need something about following things. It is very important to me:
1. Oxidation of carboxylic acids to chinones with presence of diiode pentaoxide (I2O5), potassium peroxodisulphate (K2S2O8), potassium permanganate (KMnO4) or potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7); 2. Iodation. Inserting of iodium to the hydroxochinaldine acids ring by using diiode pentaoxide (I2O5); 3. Sulfuration of hydroxochinaldine acids by using tetraphosphorus decasulphide (P4S10); 4. Anything about Lawesson reagents. I rely on your help because it is a very important case to me. My e-mail: [email protected] Thanks a lot! |

In your first three points, you describe chemical reactions. What is it you want to know about them?
Apparently Lawesson's reagent is p-Methoxyphenylthionophosphine sulphide dimer. http://www.actim.com/enpll.htm I was unable to find out more about the reagent. It's mentioned a lot on Google, but there's no site explaining what it does as far as I could tell. It's not in my o-chem textbook either. Sorry I couldn't help you. |
