Perfumery is one of the sciences of chemistry, so what do you think? I've just finished reading a story by Roald Dahl about a perfume that made any woman who wore it completely irresistible. I know pheromone perfumes are meant to make people more attractive. Is there any way they could make someone irresistible?

that would be pretty cool . i bet it would be a compound of lithium
because it has emotional properties that are only barely understood i bet chemists will find that out pretty quick

I admire you simmy for not starting off saying 'I have this friend who wants to know.....'
![]() Seriously, I think there is so much more to the 'chemistry' of attraction between people than their smell. So I don't think anyone could be made irresistable in real life by a scent all by itself. |

they might make some people be with you but you wouldn't be irresistible .

A few years back a friend (yes Heidi, it was a friend of mine, not me
) bought one of these pheromone perfumes and wore it a couple of times. As far as I know it made no difference to his attractiveness to ladies.

One of my friends used these and said they definitely worked for him. Whether it was the pheromones, or whether he felt more self-confident because he was wearing the pheromones I can't say.
