I'm trying to get myself up to date with internet access/use. One step was to start using dual screens on my PC, described here.
Now I'm looking for a portable device to access the internet when I'm on the move. I was thinking about Apple's iPad, but I read that it doesn't support Flash and so a lot of web content is lost to iPad users. Does anyone have any ideas? What do you think is the best portable option for internet use? |

From everything I've seen the Samsung Galaxy Tab looks pretty cool. Basically it can do the same as an iPad PLUS it supports flash and its got a camera too. It runs on Google Android, which I think is a big plus AND its a much more convenient size 7" than the iPad for portable use and you've got Google GPS and thousands of other free applications.
BestBuy have it at $599 right now from Sprint or $399 with a 2-year data plan. Expensive, but better value than an iPad. |

I agree with heidi about the Samsung. It's a perfect size, lightweight, with a beautiful touch screen. The screen has its own light sensor for best brightness. It's fast, I've had one for a couple of weeks now. I'm blown away by just how well it does everything. Top marks.
