Default human brain

human brain require glucose for its fuction and in our body glucose is stored in the form of glycogen in the liver and muscles so at the time of fasting our brain is totaly dependent on liver for glucose availability so why not our brain stores glucose for its own purpose? infact brain has large amount of lipid surrounding nerve tissues so why not brain stores glucose in the form of lipid ( which has high calori value compair to glucose)and use?

The brains is an organ. It has many functions, most of it we do not know yet. You can't expect one so complex and hard working organ to make, store its food. This would be too much. The fat tissue is there to prevent the brain from collision. So when you are biking your brain won't play pinball with itself. That is very important to keep it steady, so these fat 'pillows' are smooth and soft, and they stop the brain from crushing into your skull. Which does happen is severe conditions.

Most of the cells here are glia and nerve cells. They do not posess the function to make glycogen, they have other functions. An organism has its name for this. Organs function with each other, every one has their function. Apperently your brain has an other function than to store glycogen and make glucose when in need. In vegetative state your brain is not working, but your body is. Though it is important, it is not that important for the body. The base can operate without a command center, well not that well but it can operate.
