may i ask if i got this as the right definition of relative gas density?:
The relative density of a gas is its density divided by the density of hydrogen (or sometimes dry air) at the same temperature and pressure

That website suggests that you're right about air. It doesn't say anything about hydrogen. I can't remember studying this topic myself.
