Default Test Gas To Confirm Its Identity

I did a single replacement experiment today where the balanced equation was:

Zn(s) + 2HCl(aq) --> ZnCl*sub2*(aq) + H*sub2*(g)

Looking at the equation, the gas being released is obviously hydrogen gas, but I have a question which asks:

"How could you test the gas released to confirm its identity?"

I'm stuck on this question! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
