Hydrogen fuel cells

Hello everyone,

I am doing a paper on hydrogen fuel cells and I want it to be the BEST in the class. (I am a college freshman.) So I need some information. I hope that there is someone who can help me out.

First of all, how does a hydrogen fuel cell work? How does it power stuff?

Why are people so excited about them? I heard that it was because hydrogen fuel cells do not give out pollution. Is this right?

What are some of the problems associated with using fuel cells and what are some possible solutions? (I do know that hydrogen has a low energy efficiency. Could someone please elaborate on that?)

I don't neccessarily need someone to reply with a long post...I have nothing against reading stuff for myself, so if you know of some good places on the internet I should go to, that would be fine too.
