Default solidying latex

Hi everybody, i need a cheaper replace for silicone rubber so i guess latex is the right choice, but, vinegar makes it solidify very fast and thereīs no time to cast into a mold and it solidify in a very irregular way as a chewing gum, so what can i add to latex to it solidify in a uniform way and in a time controlled way? (that its structure will be uniform when solidify, and lets to cast it into a mold before it solidifies)

(sorry if my english isnīt good, iīm not english native)

Hmm, i would suggest diluting the vineger or using something like bathroom sealant that has a curing agent mixed in already.
