Default Solving chemical equations

When you are given any chemical equation, how is it solved in general please?

mostly you need to know how elements bond to make molecules
like 12H2O+6CO2-> C6H12O6+O2 that is the process of photosynthesis

i guess the best way for me to explain is knowing stable molecules of each element [ excluding noble gases ] hydrogen binds to itself to form H2 . you have to know what stable compounds elements make . most elements will not make unstable compounds.
and unstable compounds are usually man-made . so this applies to natural compounds .
thats the best i can explain it

The question is hard to answer without more information. Are you, for example, seeking a general solution for an chemical equilibrium constant or a general solution to balance a chemical equation or.......
