When I'm working I find I run out of screen space. I'll have a web browser open, Word, maybe Excel and maybe a graphics program. There's not enough room on one screen to do everything I want.
A few months ago, I bought a very, very large screen (I can't remember how big but probably over 30" and was expensive). What I found was that everything on the screen was blurred. I couldn't get the screen resolution I wanted. Thankfully I got a refund. Only a couple of weeks ago I realized that you can hook up two (or more) monitors to one computer. They act just like one monitor and you can grab things with your mouse from one monitor and move them right over to the other. I guess nearly everyone knows this already, but I didn't and if you don't, I'd recommend it. This is an image of a browser window being dragged from one monitor over to another. ![]() Here's a bit more info: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/orga...omonitors.aspx Last edited by Paul Robbins; November 14th, 2010 at 06:43. |
