First let an aromatic acid react with activated acid derivatives such as benzoyl chloride or by coupling reagents used in peptide synthesis such as N,N'-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and 4-Dimethylaminopyridine. the aromatic acid amide produced is then hydrolyzed to yield an amine and a carboxylic acid under strong acidic conditions.
hope this helps. ^_^
