Net Ionic Equation | 2NaI + Br2

I was given NaI(aq) + Br2(aq) -->
and told to complete, balance, and find the net ionic equation.

As my answer, I have:
2NaI(aq) + Br2(aq) --> 2NaBr(s) + I2(s)
and
Na(+) + I(-) + Br2 --> NaBr(s) + I2(s)

I'm thinking that some part of that is wrong, but I'm not sure waht exactly. This problem is based on a rough lab test. After adding the Br2(aq) to the NaI(aq) I still had a solution (red-brown in color w/some yellow). I thought maybe this was because I did not add enough Br2 and the reaction did not go to completion.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Net ionic reaction will be between Br2 and I-. Na+ ions are spectators.

NaBr is not a solid in water; it dissociates like NaCl. Therefore as was already mentioned the Na+ is a spectator ion.
