i dont have a clue how to start this problem

given 3Fe2O3+CO---> 2Fe3O4=CO2 what mass of Fe2O3 would be required to produce 880.0 grams of carbon dioxide assuming there was an excess of CO?

The bolds are subscribt but i dont know how to do that[/b]

The answer is 219.6g Fe2O3.

You start with the mass of the target product - CO2. Then you change that mass into moles. Then you use the equation to determine how many moles of Fe2O3 are needed to make each mole of CO2. Then, you change these moles back into mass to get your answer.
