Bond length

Hey everyone,
Consider the carbon-nitrogen bonds in the following:

Which bond is shorter? Which is stronger?
Sorry for my terrible paint skills 8)
Thanks,

This is what my book says:

C-N: Bond length: 147 pm, energy: 305 kJ/mol
C (triple bond) N: Bond length: 116 pm, energy: 890 kJ/mol

Triple bonds are always shorter and stronger than single bonds, all else being equal. I can't think offhand how the negative charge affects things though.
