Balancing simple equations plz help!!
 
hi could someone plz help me balance this eqn??

NaCo3 --> Na2O + Co2

is it possible?? ><

I don't think that NaCo3 is possible, since Co is cobalt and tends to form positive, not negative ions. Did you mean NaCO3?

i think the formula is NaHCO3 which is sodium bicarbonate and would mean:

2 NaHCO3 -> Na2O + H2O + 2 CO2

which is balanced
