Volatile Back Titration
Hi, I'm glad I found this forum and community. I have a rather peculiar question, does any body know of a case that a common substance contained harmful impurites? I hope to write a story and chemistry seems to be one theme I can articulate on.
The plot structure will have a student who discovers the substance is ??% pure by doing a back titration. And the rest of it is volatile (possibly by some form of contamination) and reactive with common substances (i.e. water, skin, etc) that other students will have accidents with. No way im going to leave all the work up to you guys, I am very willing to do research and get the correct numbers and substances, but I need a place to start. Your help is appreciated. |
back titration...?Is that an Ice-Cream?..tell me what it is...(not too complex) maybe I've made one but didn't know that is a back titration....
Your story should start with "A long time ago...In a home far far away from England..."...maybe you can "create" an isotope...lets say that it's name is voldermortium..or geocron...or darthvaderium..... And let say their was an old fool their that is being treated bad by other people...rumor say that old fool knows about that substance...... then the student tries to search for the old fool while doing experiments and meeting people along the way.... I know my idea is not good...but I hope it help.... |
Tts helps. I was hoping to get some sort of journey into the story. Back titration is a method used to figure out a property of a substance (i.e. mass).
